TuneHabbo - Habbo Staff

Over the years Sulake has been running they have employed many people to act as Habbo Staff. These people maintain the hotel, the main member of staff being the Site Producer - more commonly known as the Hotel Manager. Many Staff have resigned or been fired in the past. Here is a full list of all Habbo staff. This includes Office Staff, Player Support Staff, Moderators, Hobbas and Habbo eXperts.

Habbo Office Staff and Player Support

These are the main people behind what happens in Habbo, the Office Staff are those who go to work everyday to the London Offices. Player Support members are also Habbo Staff but they work from home but occasionally visit the Offices. Below you can see the current and past members of staff. Some may have brackets after with more names in, this is because those names are their other accounts. In the Current Staff list you may see some italics, this is because that member of staff has had past jobs in the hotel but still works there, their current/latest Staff name is the one shown not in brackets. By clicking the staff's username you will be taken to their Habbo Homepage! This is only UK staff, international hotel staff is not listed, nor are there any details on the staffing for the merged hotel.

The Moderation Team and Moderators

When Habbo first began it was a small community and therefore was not too much of a problem to keep in order, as the Habbo Empire expanded it came apparent that professional help was needed, this introduced the Moderation Team!

This team was full of professionals who knew exactly what they were doing in their vital role. Originally, the Moderation team used the account 'HobbaContact', which then changed to Moderator when there was confusion with Habbo Club. There was then a Moderator-2 account created when two moderators were required on weekends. When more and more Moderators were required it made much more sense for them to each have their own account, meaning moosemaster's moderator account would have been MOD-Moose.

Throughout Habbo's history a number of Moderators have left the team for various reasons, whether it be to move on to better things in life, or sadly, as a few have, passed away. There are always new Moderators hired to replace these departures and occasionally an extra one or two is hired as the community continues to grow.

Hobba's

To accompany the Habbo Moderators, Habbo realised just how quickly it was growing. To try and keep costs low they introduced the 'Hobba', these were ordinary Habbos who worked for free to keep the hotel in control and aid the Moderator's hard work. These members of the community were given either a Silver or Gold Hobba badge to show their dedications.

These 'Hobbas' could do simple operations such as banning users for breaking the Habbo Way, kick users from rooms, edit room names and entry status, rights priviledges in every room and a few other simple commands, not quite as many as Moderators though! A number of these powers were removed as more professional moderators were hired and had more time to conduct simple operations, meaning Hobbas no longer needed these powers. Hobbas were not officially moderators but took on that role with much less power. The Hobba team was removed in late 2005 for 'security reasons'.

Many of these Hobbas left before the team was 'disposed' of, others of them continued their career in Habbo, such as Scorbutic going on to become MOD-Scor, or Lost_Witness going on to become Hotel Manager!

Habbo eXperts

When the Hobbas were removed from the hotel, Habbo came up with the idea of Habbo eXperts. These are people from the Habbo Community who have applied for that role and their job is to welcome new people to the hotel and guide them around. These people are not the Hobba's replacements. This team of 'staff' get one extra power - the ability to enter any room even if it is full.

However, they were only allowed to use this whilst they are on duty, such as to get in the Welcome Lounge if it is full and are not allowed to enter Habbo Events using this power. Originally, the team was only known as Habbo eXperts, which then gained a smaller sister called Safety eXperts. Habbo eXperts then had another litter which separated the team into specialist areas including Gaming eXperts, Tech eXperts and Host eXperts, along with the Safety eXperts.

This now meant that the team was much more efficient and Habbos needing help would know who to ask a specific thing by looking at their unique badge! Since there are quite a number of Habbo eXperts and they change quite often, we decided it was inappropriate to list them on this page. The team of Habbo eXperts were removed in June 2008, along with the Welcome Group to make way for the Habbo Guides campaign, meaning anyone is able to help new Habbos! When the Habbo eXperts finished their role, they were each given an eXceptional sleeping bag as a thankyou for their work.
